The bulk of the work in developing a CDM project consist of the development of a Project Design Document (PDD), then validation of the PDD and obtaining the final national approval. This can take 9-12 months and requires a number of technical and CDM related skills. YTL- SV Carbon can undertake this job on a "No cure-No pay" basis taking into account the specific circumstances of each project. With more than 40 projects under development in Malaysia YTL-SV Carbon is the country's the largest CDM project developer in terms of number of projects.
