Ilango is a chemical engineer with more than 15 years experience in liquid and solid waste management, renewable energy project development and with 4 years experience in CDM projects.

  • Has very good exposure to all aspects of CDM project development - from identification to registration- and commercialization of emission reduction assets.
  • Has exposure to all kinds of CDM projects - successfully registered hydroelectric, wind, methane capture projects and has been handling geothermal, biomass and natural gas projects in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, etc.
  • His experience in solid and liquid waste treatment plants aids in maximization of emission reduction assets in methane recovery and landfill gas CDM projects.
  • Has negotiated and concluded contracts for sale and purchase of emission reduction assets.

 


NICHOLAS SIMANJUNTAK

 

Nicholas Simanjuntak, CDM Consultant
Nicholas Simanjuntak holds an Environmental Engineering degree from the Institute Technology of Bandung, Indonesia and is based in YTL-SV Carbon’s Jakarta office. He is trained in air pollution measurement and control, wastewater and hazardous waste treatment and management, occupational safety and health and is also well versed with the environmental regulations in Indonesia.

With experiences in air quality research and management as well as emissions measurement, one of his specializations include the measurement of poly chlorinated dibenzo dioxin (PCDD) and poly chlorinated dibenzo furan (PCDF). Prior to his work in CDM, he was an environmental measuring engineer and has been involved in many emissions measurements for the cement industry.

His expertise in CDM includes PDD development and monitoring of CDM projects. He also developed a new CDM methodology - AM0087 (Construction of a new natural gas power plant supplying electricity to the grid or a single consumer) that has been approved by UNFCCC.

 


CHAK TZE CHIN

 

Ms. Chak Tze Chin, CDM Consultant
Tze Chin has a degree in Wood Science and Technology and a diploma in Forestry from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She has been trained in developing PDDs and monitoring plans for CDM Projects as well as in providing constant support to clients in the Post registration phases of the CDM process. In particular, Tze Chin is directly involved in preparing monitoring reports for verification, contacting and negotiating with suppliers the acquisition of appropriate monitoring equipments to fulfil the CDM monitoring requirements. She has earned considerable experience in methane recovery CDM projects in palm oil mills, co-composting projects as well as palm biomass power projects.
