Tan Sri (Dr.) Francis
Yeoh, CBE, studied at Kingston University, UK, where
he obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Civil Engineering
and was conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering
in 2004.
He became the Managing Director of YTL Corporation Berhad
in 1988 which, under his stewardship, has grown from
a single listed entity into an international conglomerate
comprising six listed companies, worth US$9billion today
with 10 million customers in 3 continents. The YTL Group's
core businesses are ownership and management of regulated
utilities and other infrastructural assets in several
continents.
He is a Founder Member of the Malaysian Business Council
and The Capital Markets Advisory Council. He is also
a member of The Nature Conservancy Asia Pacific Council,
The Asia Business Council and a Trustee of the Asia
Society. He further sits on the International Business
Leaders Forum, an international not-for-profit organisation
set up by The Prince of Wales. In addition, he is a
member of the Advisory Council of London Business School,
Wharton School and INSEAD.
Tan Sri Francis was ranked by both Fortune Magazine
and Business Week Magazine as "Asia's 25 Most Powerful
and Influential Business Personalities" and won
the inaugural "Ernst and Young's Master Entrepreneur"
in Malaysia. CNBC Asia Pacific also previously named
him "Malaysia CEO of the Year".
He was appointed as member of Barclays Asia-Pacific
Advisory Committee in 2005 and in 2006, was awarded
the "Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the
British Empire" (CBE) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
II. He became the Chairman for South East Asia of the
International Friends of the Louvre in 2008 and has
also received a prestigious professional accolade when
made a Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineers in
London in the same year.
Widely known as a keen supporter of the Arts, Tan Sri
Francis is the honorary advisor of the Kuala Lumpur
Performing Arts Centre (KLPac), where he also expresses
his fervent passion for the environment and conservation
by bringing Nature and the Arts together in Sentul Park,
a 35-acre private-gated park in the heart of the city.
In 2006, he was invited to the Clinton Global Initiative
(CGI) in New York, and was further invited by CNBC in
a follow-up programme to discuss the effects, solutions
and business of climate change as a leader in environmental
protection in Asia, alongside a top panel of experts
which include Jeffrey D. Sachs (Dean of the Earth Institute,
Columbia University), Jim Hansen (Head of the Goddard
Institute), Jeremy Leggett (CEO Solarcentury) and Fred
Smith (President of the Competitive Enterprise Institute)
on their "Global Players" special programme.

RUTH YEOH |
Ruth Yeoh is Executive Director at YTL Singapore Pte Ltd
and Director at YTL-SV Carbon, YTL's in-house carbon credit and CDM consultancy.
Ruth currently leads the environmental division at YTL, where she reports on her organisation's
environmental activities through writing its award-winning Sustainability Reports, published yearly.
Ruth also pioneered the highly successful "Climate Change Week", YTL's flagship educational campaign
designed to raise awareness on the important issue of climate change in her nation of Malaysia and globally.
She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility Malaysia (ICRM) and is an investment committee
member of both the Asian Renewable Energy and Environment Fund (AREEF) and Renewable Energy and Environment
Fund (REEF), investing in clean technology and renewable energy. Ruth was appointed to be the youngest Board
Member of Rare Conservation in 2008, with responsibilities in the Governance Committee of this US-based conservation
organisation. She is also a Board Member at Reef Check Malaysia, dedicated to protecting reefs and coral life in
Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region. She also helps to strategise environmental protection and conservation
work in Asia through strengthening partnerships with leaders and practitioners, and is a Fellow at Asia Society's
Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative.
Ruth graduated with a degree (Hons) from the University of Nottingham UK and an MSc (Distinction) from Cass Business School
in the City of London. She was previously attached with Credit Suisse, Singapore. In addition, she has written for both
the Wall Street Journal Asia and Financial Times, and has authored and co-edited a book on climate change entitled "Cut Carbon,
Grow Profits: Business Strategies for Managing Climate Change and Sustainability" (published in 2007).

RALPH DIXON

Ralph Dixon, Director of Environmental Investments at YTL Corp / CEO YTL-SV Carbon
Ralph graduated from Warwick University in the UK with a Bsc in Management Sciences, and has a Diploma in Mandarin
from the Taiwan Normal Teachers University. Prior to joining YTL Corp and YTL-SV Carbon in the environmental division,
he worked since 2001 in operational and manufacturing roles in Indonesia, South Africa and Singapore in the pulp and
paper converting, and recycled wood processing industries for Detpak and Hong Leong Industries respectively.
Prior to that for 15 years he worked in investment banking in Asia and Europe with companies such as Hoare Govett,
Hong Leong and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in research and management positions.
